•  Azithromycin Tablet is indicated in combination with other medicines for treating mild to moderate infections caused by certain bacteria. In deciding to use a medicine, the risks of taking the medicine must be weighed against the good it will do. This is a decision you and your doctor will make. For this medicine, the following should be considered:

Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines. Also tell your health care professional if you have any other types of allergies, such as to foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals. For non-prescription products, read the label or package ingredients carefully.

Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated pediatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of nitazoxanide oral suspension in children 1 year of age and older, and nitazoxanide tablet in children 12 years of age and older. However, safety and efficacy of nitazoxanide oral suspension has not been established in children younger than 1 year of age.

Although appropriate studies on the relationship of age to the effects of nitazoxanide have not been performed in the geriatric population, geriatric-specific problems are not expected to limit the usefulness of nitazoxanide in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more likely to have age-related kidney, liver, or heart problems, which may require caution in patients receiving nitazox

There are no adequate studies in women for determining infant risk when using this medication during breastfeeding. Weigh the potential benefits against the potential risks before taking this medication while breastfeeding.

Although certain medicines should not be used together at all, in other cases two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction might occur. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. Tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) medicine.

Certain medicines should not be used at or around the time of eating food or eating certain types of food since interactions may occur. Using alcohol or tobacco with certain medicines may also cause interactions to occur. Discuss with your healthcare professional the use of your medicine with food, alcohol, or tob.

Take this medicine exactly as directed even if you feel well. Do not take more of this medicine and do not take it more often than your doctor ordered. This medicine works best if there is a constant amount in the blood. To keep blood levels constant, take this medicine at the same time each day and do not miss any doses.

Take this medicine with food.

Use only the form of this medicine that your doctor prescribed. The oral suspension and tablet contain different amounts of medicine.

Shake the oral suspension well before using. Use a specially marked measuring syringe or spoon to measure each dose accurately. The average household teaspoon may not hold the right amount of liquid

The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of this medicine. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.

The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are using the medicine.

RIBAVIRIN 200MG contains Ribavirin which belongs to a group of medicines called antiviral agents. It is used to treat chronic hepatitis C (HCV) viral infection. This medicine is also used in combination with other medicines to treat certain chronic forms of hepatitis C.

Ribavirin is a purine nucleoside analogue has broad-spectrum antiviral activity against influenza A and B, respiratory syncytial virus and many other DNA and double stranded RNA viruses. It is a mono- and triphosphate derivatives generated intracellularly inhibit GTP and viral RNA synthesis and have other sites of action.

Before taking RIBAVIRIN 200MG, tell your physician if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended for children and adolescents below 18 years of age. The common side effects are headache, muscle pain, weakness, fatigue and fever
