Filgotinib, also known by the trade name Jyseleca, is a type of drug known as a JAK inhibitor. These drugs work by limiting the action of Janus kinase enzymes, which are involved in the inflammation that causes the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and some other conditions.

Filgotinib isn't a painkiller, but it can reduce the symptoms and limit the joint damage that could be caused by your condition. If filgotinib works for you, your symptoms should start to improve within the first 12 weeks after you start to take it, and possibly sooner. But you may not notice the full benefit for the first 6 months of treatment.

Calutide-50 Tablet 10's belongs to the class of anticancer drugs called non-steroidal anti-androgens used to treat prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the prostate gland's cancer (a small gland under the bladder that produces semen) found only in men. The symptoms include difficulty in urination, pain, numbness or sexual problems.

Calutide-50 Tablet 10's contains Bicalutamide that works by inhibiting the effects of androgens (male hormones) such as testosterone that increases the growth of prostate cancer cells. Calutide-50 Tablet 10's prevents testosterone from binding to androgen receptors on the prostate cancer cells and starves cancer cells of testosterone. Thereby, it prevents the growth of prostate cancer cells and eventually shrinks the prostate tumour.

Take Calutide-50 Tablet 10's with or without food as advised by your doctor and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Your doctor will advise you how often you take your tablets based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience weakness, skin rash, swelling and tenderness of breast, nausea, dry skin, weight gain, hair loss, hot flushes (sudden feeling of warmth), anaemia (lack of blood), reduces sex drive, constipation, depression, indigestion or dizziness. Most of these side effects of Calutide-50 Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Calutide-50 Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Calutide-50 Tablet 10's is not recommended for women and children. Please consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Calutide-50 Tablet 10's. Please consult a doctor if you want to father a child before taking Calutide-50 Tablet 10's as it may impair fertility in men. Avoid taking Calutide-50 Tablet 10's with cisapride, astemizole or terfenadine. Avoid direct exposure to excessive UV-light or sunlight and wear protective clothing while going out in the sun as Calutide-50 Tablet 10's may increase sunburn risk. If you have diabetes, liver or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Calutide-50 Tablet 10's.

Anastrozole is used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause. Some breast cancers are made to grow faster by a natural hormone called estrogen. Anastrozole decreases the amount of estrogen the body makes and helps to slow or reverse the growth of these breast cancers.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once a day.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day.

Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of serious side effects will increase.

Since this drug can be absorbed through the skin and lungs and may harm an unborn baby, women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not handle this medication or breathe the dust from the tablets.

Uses

Tamoxifen is used to treat breast cancer. It is also used to reduce the chances of breast cancer in high-risk patients.This medication can block the growth of breast cancer. It works by interfering with the effects of estrogen in the breast tissue.

Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start using tamoxifen and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food, usually once or twice daily for 5 years, or as directed by your doctor. Daily dosages greater than 20 milligrams are usually divided in half and taken twice a day, in the morning and evening, or as directed by your doctor. If you are using the liquid, measure the dose carefully using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.

Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. The duration of treatment to prevent cancer from returning may be between 5 to 10 years, depending on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time(s) each day.

If you have breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, you may experience increased bone/cancer pain and/or disease flare-up as you start taking tamoxifen. In some cases, this may be a sign of a good response to the medication. Symptoms include increased bone pain, increased tumor size, or even new tumors. These symptoms usually disappear quickly. Always tell your doctor right away about these symptoms.

Tamoxifen is used to treat breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body in men and women. It is used to treat early breast cancer in women who have already been treated with surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy.

Anastrozole is used in the treatment of breast cancer. It is used with other treatments such as surgery or radiation to treat breast cancer in women who have attained menopause

Dasatrue 50mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. 

Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's contains 'Flutamide' that falls in the category of medicines known as 'anti-androgens (anti-testosterone)'. Testosterone is a natural hormone produced by the body but this hormone helps prostate cancer to grow and spread in the body. Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's works by stopping the action of this hormone thereby reduces the growth and spread of cancer.

Take Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are suggested to take Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's as long as your doctor has prescribed it after checking your medical condition.  In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of interest in sexual ability, nausea and enlargement of breasts may happen. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Do not take Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy as Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's causes serious birth defects. Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's should not be taken by breastfeeding mothers as it passes into breast milk and may cause possible risk to the infant. Elderly people are more sensitive to the medicine so the doctor may adjust the dosage according to the condition. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Cytomid 250 Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased dizziness.

Prostate cancer

METHOTREXATE (METH oh TREX ate) treats inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and psoriasis. It works by decreasing inflammation, which can reduce pain and prevent long-term injury to the joints and skin. It may also be used to treat some types of cancer. It works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells.

Pilocarpine tablets are used to treat dryness of the mouth and throat caused by a decrease in the amount of saliva that may occur after radiation treatment for cancer of the head and neck or in patients with Sjogren's syndrome

Pomalidomide is used in combination with dexamethasone to treat multiple myeloma (a type of cancer of the bone marrow) that has not improved during or within 60 days of treatment with at least two other medications, including lenalidomide (Revlimid) and a proteasome inhibitor such as bortezomib (Velcade) or carfilzomib .

This medication is used to treat certain types of lung disease (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis- IPF, interstitial lung disease). Both types of lung disease scar and stiffen your lungs, making it hard to breathe. Nintedanib may help slow down the worsening of your lung disease.

Take this medication by mouth with food as directed by your doctor, usually twice daily (about 12 hours apart). The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush or chew because the drug has a bitter taste. Do not open the capsules. Wash your hands well right away if your skin comes in contact with the content inside the capsules.
